I’ve shared tonnes of gift ideas for kids over the years, but I’m constantly being asked for grown-up versions — presents for partners, parents, siblings, teachers, in-laws, or just someone who’s impossible to buy for. I’m a big believer that the best gifts are either useful, meaningful, or something someone wouldn’t necessarily treat themselves to — and this list covers all three.
Here are some brilliant ideas for adults of all ages and budgets — tried, tested, or firmly on my own wish list!
1. Annie & Alfie Kids’ Handwriting Disc Chain
The sweetest personalised jewellery — you can send in a child’s handwriting or handwriting from and loved one, and it’s engraved onto a beautiful disc necklace. A keepsake they’ll treasure forever. I wear mine every single day – hands down my favourite piece of jewellery I own.
2. Orla Walsh Prints
Bright, iconic Irish pop-art style prints featuring everything from biscuits to berries — the perfect way to add personality to a kitchen, hallway, or office. Orla is insanely talented and I have bought many of her prints over the years.
3. Jando Print or Workshop
Choose one of Jando’s iconic prints or gift a screen-printing workshop experience. Ideal for someone who loves Irish design, interiors, or trying something new. Huge Jando fans in this house and love their new ‘Everything is better’ range – featuring all the different counties in Ireland!
4. Stackers Jewellery Box
A clever, modular jewellery organiser that can be built up over time. Looks gorgeous on a dresser and solves the “tangled necklace” problem forever.
5. Bouquet Box Flower Subscription
Fresh flowers delivered monthly — far more thoughtful than a one-off bouquet and guaranteed to brighten someone’s mood (and kitchen table).
6. Skincare, Cosmetics & Beauty Tools
From a luxury moisturiser to a cult favourite serum, a new hair device — always a safe bet if you know what they use. Last year I got myself the GHD Duet Styler for Christmas and adore it.

7. Skylight Frame
A digital photo frame that updates instantly via email or the app — perfect for grandparents, long-distance family or someone who never prints photos. You can send photos directly to their frame.
8. Oral-B iO3 Electric Toothbrush
Once you switch to a good electric toothbrush you never go back. A surprisingly brilliant gift — very practical but still feels like a treat. This one was recommended to me by my dental hygienist and I see such a difference in my teeth and gums since I made the switch over.
9. Sparkle Atelier Handbag
Beautiful personalised handbags and accessories — an incredible small Irish business. Perfect for Christmas, special birthdays, bridesmaids, or a stylish friend. Beautiful bags, incredible quality.
10. NEOM Diffuser
A gorgeous ceramic diffuser that fills the room with essential oil blends like “Calm” and “Energy” — spa vibes without leaving home. I every single day without fail when I’m at home. I love the larger size – so I don’t have to refill it as often.
11. Plug-In Heated Lap Blanket
For anyone who’s permanently cold, works from home, or likes to watch TV in comfort. Cheaper to run than heating the whole house too and super cosy. I got one of these for my Mom and Mother in Law last year and they both absolutely love them!
12. Wine Pump Saver
The gift you never knew you needed — keeps an open bottle of wine fresh for days. Great paired with a bottle of something nice.
13. Good Wine Glasses
A set of elegant, thin-rimmed glasses instantly upgrading “glass of wine on the sofa” to “at-home date nights”. These are my absolute favourites and one of my go to gifts for fellow wine lovers. I’m a firm believer that wine tastes better from the perfect glass!

14. Air Fryer
If they don’t have one, life-changing. If they do have one, an upgrade with dual flexi drawers is next-level. This one is big enough that I can bake in it when you remove the drawer divider!
15. Salter 3-in-1 Waffle / Toasted Sandwich / Panini Maker
One gadget, three uses — waffles for the kids, toasties for lunch, paninis for movie night. Compact, easy to clean, and used 3-4 times a week in our house.
16. Microplane Grater
A grater doesn’t sound exciting — until you get this one. It’s unbelievably sharp and makes zesting, grating parmesan, etc. effortless. A kitchen must have for kitchen gadget lovers.
17. Nutribullet
Perfect for smoothies, soups, sauces — quick, easy, dishwasher safe. A great gift for anyone getting into healthy eating or a busy family kitchen.
18. Samsung Fit3 Watch
Fitness tracking, calls, messages, sleep data — all paired with Android phones seamlessly. A good alternative to the Apple Watch for a fraction of the price. I can not recommend this watch enough. I have one over a year now and have since bought for for my Mom and husband. The charge lasts for over a week and it’s great for call and WhatsApp/text notifications I would otherwise miss during the day
19. Sonos Move Speaker
A portable, premium-quality speaker that works indoors and outdoors (we bring ours into the garden in summer). Great for music lovers. We are huge fans of Sonos in this house and also have a Sonos Five in our kitchen which I adore.
20. Putting Mat
For the golfer who wants to improve their putting at home. Rolls up neatly and can live under a sofa or bed. Brilliant gift idea and ideal for rainy days or a little mindfulness.
21. Net Return Golf & Sports Net
A serious gift for a husband/dad/teen who’s golf obsessed. Can be used indoors or outdoors and can be taken apart and put away.

22. 9-in-1 Gadget Pen for Men
Screwdriver, stylus, ruler, spirit level and pen in one. The kind of gift they’ll keep in the car or desk drawer and actually use.
23. LED Telescopic Torch
A bendy, magnetic torch that can reach into awkward spaces — DIY-ers, car boot, or stocking stuffer for dads.
24. Meta Quest 3 VR Headset
A whole world of games, fitness, and immersive experiences — brilliant for teens and adults. I bought my husband one for his birthday last year and he loves it.
25. Gym Membership or Personal Trainer Sessions or a Treadmill
A thoughtful gift for someone who wants accountability or motivation — especially if they’ve mentioned wanting a reset in January. I’ve linked the folding treadmill I always chat about.
26. Afternoon Tea Voucher
My favourites: Dromoland Castle, Adare Manor, Ashford Castle, The Westbury — a gorgeous memory-making experience instead of more “stuff”.
27. Aarke Carbonator (Sparkling Water Machine)
Sleek, stylish, and eco-friendly. Turns tap water into sparkling water with zero plastic waste. Looks beautiful on a countertop too.
28. Battery Organiser
This battery organiser case is a practical gift that will spark joy for the person in your life who likes to be weirdly organised! It comes with a battery tester so you know what to keep and recycle, and store batteries of all shapes and sizes.
29. Photo Gifts
A photobook, a framed canvas, magnets, calendars – photo gifts make such a lovely gift idea for grandparents, family members or friends. I love Print35.ie for great quality prints and gifts. They do incredible framed canvases which I adore – and their photobooks are the best I’ve ordered over the years.
30. Personalised Decorations
These beautiful porcelain decorations – handmade in Ireland, make a beautiful Christmas gift for family, teachers, friends. A great alternative to bringing a box of sweets when visiting friends over the festive period – something special they will have for many years to come.
