3 Online Toy Stores You Need to Know About

If like me you have a slight obsession with traditional and wooden toys then this list is going to excite you! Anyone who knows me knows my love of old school toys and so for me, the main high street toy stores near us have limited stock of the types of toys I really want to buy. I like hard wearing toys that the kids won’t tire of in a week and that are more likely to yield hours of fun and playtime. In this sense I’m ok with spending a little more money for beautiful, sustainable toys that will still be around in years to come and not join a sea of broken plastic at the end of a toy box. Online toy stores are my go to, because they tend to have incredible stock that I didn’t even know I needed!

These are 3 online toy stores which I regularly buy from because they are small businesses, they are based in Ireland, and stock really unique and different toys that you won’t find in your average toy store. From play kitchens, traditional bricks and pull-a-long animals, to musical instruments and wooden food, these toy stores won’t disappoint. What’s great is they all deliver free within Ireland with a minimum spend, have huge ranges of stock and most importantly you can shop in these stores sans kiddos with a glass of wine in hand. Winning at life.

Little Ones is actually located in Ennis, Co.Clare, but they have a really extensive online store of wooden, traditional and educational toys. I absolutely love their stock, which includes big wooden brands like Big Jigs Toys, Le Toy Van, Hape and Djeco. We bought some Tiny Human favourites from Little Ones including our much loved Bumblebee Wheelybug, all of our wooden musical instruments and our Lanka Kade Noah’s Ark, which Little Ones ordered in specially for us. Little Ones stock everything from nursery gifts, books, wooden toys, clothing to soft toys, lunchboxes and personalised letter bunting.

I have bought a sea of toys and baby equipment from Little Dreamers over the last few years and have always found them a pleasure to deal with. I had an issue with a product last Christmas which Little Dreamers were quick to rectify and even collected the faulty item from my home.
